Members of the club will be required to help in
various duties prior and during the event.
There will be a small event committee who will remain as Marshals
throughout the event, other members will be needed to assist at
certain times of the day.
This will give everyone the opportunity to enjoy
the day and not be burden with responsibilities for too long. We
are hopeful of having some media interest prior and during the
event. All members will therefore be ‘ambassadors’ for the club
and may be required for interview and filming.
We are also pursuing sponsorship of the event from
manufacturers, with the view to prizes in the form of equipment,
being awarded for the competitions.
To aid the club in advertising the event, we would
also ask that members help distribute leaflets to their friends,
family, and where-ever a leaflet can be pinned in a public place.
These will be made available shortly.
The aim of the event is to have fun, to promote
our club and to stoke interest from the public in model flying.
