SORRY, NO JET TURBINES ALLOWED
Flyers are requested to arrive at the field no
earlier than 8.30 a.m.
Electric flight can commence from 9.00 a.m.
and
I.C. from 10.00 a.m.
The car-park area next to the fixed-wing flying
field is strictly out-of-bounds to all cars.
Car-parking is situated on a separate field,
please follow direction posters on the day.
Marshals will be available to help carry items if needed and will
enforce all club rules on the day, they are there to help the
smooth running of the event so please follow their requests.
THROUGH-OUT THE DAY, IF BEGINNERS WISH TO TRY
FLYING WE WILL ENDEAVOUR TO ‘BUDDY’ THEM UP WITH A INSTRUCTOR.

Through-out the day flyers are able to fly ‘off the peg’ for the
duration of the event, but at certain times the following events
will mean restricting aircraft movements...

LIMBO EVENT;
A paper ribbon is
stretched across the landing strip and flyers have two attempts to
fly under it without breaking the ribbon. A elimination event,
with the ribbon being dropped lower until one flyer remains.
CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE;
A group of emanate
club members will judge the best aircraft on the flight-line.
Fixed-wing IC, Fixed wing electric, and I.C. and electric
Helicopters, and a final judges award to the oddest flyer!
BOMBING EVENT;
A target will be
sprayed on to the landing strip, flyers either have to drop a bomb
on to it, or if no bomb on their aircraft do a touch-and -go with
the point of contact being their ‘hit’. One attempt only allowed,
nearest to target centre wins.
SPEED TRIALS;
Fastest timed single
lap for Electric or I.C. helicopters and planes.
HELICOPTER SLALOM; Faster
lap over an obstacle course.
Prizes awarded to the winners of all
events.
