Below are a few tips for getting to know us. Whether you are a complete novice or fully experienced we will make every effort to make you welcome and help you to settle in. When you are ready to join you can download our membership form, fill it in and post it our Treasurer or you can hand it to any committee member down at the field.
If you're new to the hobby and would like to find out more, nothing will beat bobbing down to the field and having a chat with one or two of our experienced members. The best way to be certain of meeting up is to contact our club secretary who can arrange for you to meet at a convenient time and even a organise a trial flight using our dual control system to ensure a safe flight. There is no charge for this service we just ask you to be patient as we are all vulnerable to the British climate but if the weather is dry with light winds then there will be a good chance of having a go.
For experienced pilots holding BMFA membership and insurance and who would like to see what our club has to offer then pop along and you will be able to fly as a guest and potential member as long as you are accompanied by a member who has seen and verified your credentials.
