Chairman: Warren Sherman
The job of Chairman is a simple one,
Delegate and be done! Let the minions do the work. Warren was elected Acting Chairman after
Sid Mathews sadly retired. This was at the time of year when quite a lot
of important events were taking place. One being the Fun Fly Open Day in
September and then the run up to the 2009 AGM. |

Secretary:
David Wilson
Email:
secretary@bmmfc.com |
| I have now been delegated the job of Club Secretary as well as all the
other little jobs I do. This is NO easy job! Running the website and being Secretary is going to be a challenge but I will be putting in all my efforts to do both jobs and doing them right. Until I get into the swing of things though, a little patience is needed to give me time to settle into the job. I hope I can do it as good as Dave Cooper who I can always look to for a little help.
As Webmaster and Administrator of the
website. My job on that side of the fence is to run the website in a way that all members can easily
find the information they need quickly and enjoy the website to
it's full potential. I can only do this from the feedback of members. If
you have any suggestions, I will look into it and where possible,
incorporate it into the website.
Thanks to all for your support
If you have any problems using any part
of the website, please contact me at the above email address. |

Treasurer:
Ian Watts |
| Ian looks after the financial side of the
club. A very responsible position that takes up a lot of time. It is Ian
who allocates the funding for the general running of the Club like Paying
Rent for the field, Maintenance and running of the Mower, Funds for
equipment etc. needed for the Flying Fields. Managing Club Membership Records is another of Ian's duties. A long and tedious process which takes up a lot of time and organisation, especially when nearing the time for the AGM. Ian is a Fixed wing man who builds his own models, one of which is a Superb Spitfire that is a pleasure to watch. |

Chairman Events Committee:
Rob
Tomlin |
| Now then, Rob has taken on the task of
organising events such as the recent and fantastic Fun Fly Open Day Sat
19 Sept 09. More events are in the pipeline which take up a lot of Robs
time to organise. Rob also has the unofficial job as photographer. Being a professional, his photo's are used for Propwash and loads more can be seen on the Club Gallery site and Rob's personal website. |

Events Committee:
Declan Collins |
| Our most recent, and youngest, elected member to the committee is Declan, or Dec as he is known. Dec worked closely with Rob and the committee throughout 2010 to help organise and run events. Now, as part of the Events Committee and general committee, Dec has a lot to do. Declan has been a member of the club for a few years now and as one of the younger members, he brings a lot of fresh ideas to the table. | |

John Durkin Email: john@bmmfc.com |
| John is over on the "Dark Side" (helicopters) although he does come round to the fixed wing field on the odd occasion to try and fly his planes. Recently elected to the committee, December 2010, John is the spokesperson for the heli lads. As Fixed Wing and Heli's fly on separate field, it is very important to keep good communications between the two and John is just the man for the job. | |

Peter Futers Email: peter.futers@bmmfc.com |
| Pete is the handy man around the field. The "Club House" as it is now officially known, is fitted with a fully working kitchen with cooker, sink and many other mod cons all thanks to Pete. Along with a couple of club members, Pete worked hard to fit out the club house and can be seen tinkering around whenever he is at the field, trying to improve on what is already a good job. | |

Jock
Lindsay Email: jocklindsay@bmmfc.com |
| Jock used to do all the mowing of the Helicopter and Fixed Wing Strips, along with the Pit areas and paths. But, sadly the weather was starting to get the better of him so he passed the job onto someone else. He still does a very important job at the club meetings and events by helping to raise funds selling the Raffle Tickets. | |

Gerald Black Email: gerald.black@bmmfc.com |
| Gerald is the "Back Seat Driver". He is quite happy to sit at the back, chewing his gum and dozing off. Then Suddenly, he comes to life with quite a few good ideas. Joking aside, Gerald puts a lot of time and effort into any task he is appointed to do and he does not stop until it is finished. | |
